We have an immediate need for a highly qualified individual for the position of Benefits Associate for our Human Resource Department. The Benefits Associate will provide administrative support to the Employee Benefits Department. Duties include support of 401(k) program, COBRA compliance, workers compensation, benefit enrollment and verification, and customer service. |
| Responsibilities: |
Administrative support for workers comp//OSHA data entry into Ceridian and excel spreadsheet.
Prepare and mail benefit enrollment packets and fax forms to stores as needed.
Perform all administrative functions necessary to support the 401(k) plan to include distribution of enrollment kits and mailing or faxing election change forms and distribution forms, data entry, etc.
Prepare and submit termination and enrollment information to business partners as needed. Data entry of all enrollments and terminations into the HRIS system.
Perform all administrative functions necessary to support employee enrollment or changes in benefit elections. Assist associates and doctors with all benefit related inquiries answer insurance questions, 401(k) and COBRA questions and provide printed benefit materials to associates upon request.
Perform all administrative functions necessary to notify FSA plan vendor and Life/AD&D plan vendor of enrollment terminations by way of manual spreadsheets or electronic eligibility files.
Perform all administrative functions necessary to administer court ordered benefit enrollments for associates and doctors.
Perform all administrative functions necessary to assist associates and doctors with group Life/AD&D insurance claims.
Perform all administrative duties necessary to notify associates and doctors of dependents ineligibility status for benefit plans due to dependent exceeding maximum age limit. Provide other appropriate department member(s) with the identification of dependent(s) for which a COBRA event has occurred.

Proficiency in Word, Excel and HRIS systems.

| Education: |
High school diploma orGED.

2 years of related experience.
